Search Engine Optimization at Applied Engineering

After launching a new Web site in July, 2007, Applied Engineering's Web site wasn't attracting the amount of traffic it expected.

After being hired in August 2007, I evaluated the Web site content, structure and external factors leading to low search engine rankings for the Web site. Then, after conducting competitive and keyword-focused research, I put together a search engine optimization plan that included on-page and off-page SEO changes to increase Web site traffic related to the products that Applied Engineering sells and supports.

In December, 2007, the first round of SEO changes were published. As demonstrated by the graph below, the first round of the project was successful. Currently, I am working on research and content planning for other sections of Applied Engineering's web site.
